The Centurion is at the centre of the Vicars Cross Community and is very much part of its social and cultural heart.
It is currently being operated by the Centurion Community Action Group Ltd under a two year lease arrangement from Admiral Taverns with the intention of it being purchased from Admiral by the end of the lease period which is 8th September 2019.
It is very much a pub run by the Community for the Community.
The Centurion offers a range of social opportunities for all age groups of the local community and is the only fully licensed facility in Vicars Cross. It offers a wide range of beers including cask ales from a number of local Brewers.
The pub celebrated its 50th Anniversary recently, having opened late on in 1966, it is an extremely family friendly hostelry offering a range of activities for all.
We are able to accommodate birthday and christening parties, funeral wakes, coffee mornings, car boot sales, group training courses for IT courses etc, group meetings for local associations such as Scouts, Football teams and School PTA’s.
There are regular weekly quiz nights details of which are elsewhere on this site and we also have Sky and BT Sports.
Please come along and enjoy a drink of your choice in a welcoming environment.
